Most unlinked files are old files,
which are not used any longer, and which consequently have no links to
them. Very often they can be deleted. But of course there may be unlinked
files, which could/should remain internally unlinked. Typical examples
are:

A website entry file, which controls the frames.

The HTML file controlling a guest book.

The "thank you" answer file to a form questionnaire.
All findings are listed on-screen,
and the list may be saved or printed out.
